The parish of Drumglass includes the churches of St. Annes, Dungannon & St. Elizabeths, Moygashel, Dungannon. Clergy at Drumglass are The Ven Andrew Forster Rector assisted by Rev Elizabeth Stevenson Curate.
Our two churches have regular services alongside various organisations associated with the life of the church.
We are always delighted to meet visitors to our parish and we can assure you of a warm welcome.
Disabled access to St Anne's Parish Church and Church Hall is via the side door of the Church on Church Street.
Telephone number for the Parish Office which is normally open on a Thursday and Friday is 028 87752281.
Our Parish is committed to the Church of Ireland Safeguarding Trust policy which sets standards for the welfare of all children involved in the ministry of the church with a view to protecting them. The parish panel to whom any concerns can be brought is Archdeacon Andrew Forster, Miss Maureen McKeown and Mr Vivian Suitor. Their contact details are displayed on the notices in the Church Halls and notice board in the Church Foyer. If you wish to make urgent contact please phone Archdeacon Forster at 87722614.
Please inform Andrew or Elizabeth if you are going into Hospital or if you are already there. This is most important now that the Clergy do not have access to the denominational list of patients. It would also be appreciated if you could let us know when you have been discharged or transferred to another Hospital.
2019 will be the Sesquicentenary of St Anne’s Church. The Select Vestry has decided that one of the ways we will mark this significant anniversary will be the renovation and extension of our suite of halls. This work will actually begin in the next few months with Phase One which is the re-roofing of the halls at a cost of £100,000.
Phase Two will provide lift access from the car park to the same level as the church as well as new meeting rooms, youth lounge, storage, toilets and new parish office. We are in the planning phase at the moment and will soon have cost estimates from the quantity surveyor.
The halls have been an incredible blessing and resource for Drumglass Parish since they were built in 1973. We want to continue to have high quality and accessible halls that will stand the test of time as a superb resource for our Church.
Rest assured you will be hearing much, much more about the project.
